Rodrigo Ramírez began his career in the logistics and international trade industry over two decades ago, starting in the maritime sector with Canadian Pacific Ships (CPSHIPS). After the company was acquired by Hapag Lloyd in 2005, he was selected for the prestigious international “All Around for New Directors” program, where he gained comprehensive experience across maritime operations, port logistics, container maintenance, finance, administration, customer service, and sales—eventually managing the Mediterranean, Australia, and New Zealand trade lanes.

He further expanded his international exposure as Trade Lane Manager for Iberia at DHL Global Forwarding, based in Spain. Upon returning to Mexico, he took on the role of National Sales Director at Hanjin Shipping, solidifying his leadership in the shipping industry. Transitioning into freight forwarding, he held senior positions at DAMCO, Kerry Logistics, and SBLogistics, where he led international freight and sales divisions with a strong focus on commercial development and network expansion.

Rodrigo also gained critical experience in the customs sector, serving as Sales Manager at GOMSA, which broadened his understanding of the full logistics chain—from origin to customs clearance. He holds several professional certifications, including Critical Cargo (JIT), Basic Air Freight, and Legal Compliance recognition by A.P. Moller Maersk. In 2019, he earned a FIATA Train the Trainer (ToT) certification in Switzerland, achieving the top score in his class.

Beyond his corporate roles, Rodrigo has actively contributed to the development of the logistics sector in Mexico. He chaired the Maritime Working and Liaison Group at AMACARGA from 2018–2019 and was reappointed for 2020–2021. A graduate in International Relations and Foreign Trade from Universidad Anáhuac México, Rodrigo combines hands-on expertise, global strategic vision, and a strong commitment to advancing professionalism in logistics.
